That when an officer asks you to a concert and you are weighing the options of going and you finally come to your senses (after asking a close friend their opinion) and tell him no, that he gets pissy and doesn't contact you for quite a few days.
I find it somewhat amusing because he is so acting like a girl! I would have never thought that would be possible of him. I can clearly see that I have given him way too much credit in the past.
I am thinking that this is the step that I needed to give this relationship. It isn't closure but for me it is surely a step back. Being able to tell this man no is a HUGE deal for me. He is very well aware of my feelings for him and I am very well aware of his feelings for me. There will always be a connection there, but not like there was before.
It has made me value my relationship that I am currently in a bit more. Knowing that the officer was only on that pedstal because I put him there.
It is very empowering and I am loving every second of it!!!
