I have been having these amazing dreams lately. I dream of werewolves and vampires. I kid you not!! What has brought on all of these dreams...one word.

I am reading the series written by Stephenie Meyer and I have to say that I am an addict.

I just finished the second book and am starting the third tonite. They are like crack. Even in the parts you don't really enjoy you keep reading like a person that has lost their mind because you know something great is going to happen soon.

I had heard about this series for awhile now and I honestly didn't think I would enjoy them. Who would enjoy a series about vampires that is written for the "young adult". One day a friend suggested the series to me and we have the same taste in reading material so I though why not. I went to my local library and they laughed at me when I requested the book. They told me I would be put on the waiting list. Five weeks later and one day before I go on vacation, I get a call from the library...Twilight is in!

It took me one day to finish off the 500+ page book. The second I put it down I was yearning for the next one. I had to find out what happened. Well, when you are in a different country, books aren't really an easy thing to find, at least not in English. So I knew I would have to wait until I got home. But I couldn't wait another 5 weeks for the next book.

That is when I broke down and ordered the entire series from Amazon. I honestly don't think $45 with free shipping is a bad deal for four hardcover books that are over 500 pages. Heck, you can't buy the last two books in the series under $15 at the moment.

The second book took a little more to get through. There was some backstory to catch up on but on you press, knowing that soon you will be rewarded and it doesn't disappoint.

I am now finding myself wanting a vampire boyfriend. Laugh! Silly but oh so true. I blame it not only on these books but also on everything from The Lost Boys (oh Kiefer) to Interview with a Vampire. There is something very sexy about the vampire. The eyes that they are suppose to have, the cool skin, their striking beauty, the ability to stay forver young and of course they can turn you and you can live forever with them. What is not romantic about that??
